I'm going to try Barren someday
Anticipating better days.
Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer!
Speaking of pallets. I have a darn near unlimited supply at work. If anybody wants some to make beds with PM me and we can make it happen. I am going to try and get some out as my old stuff is nearly gone. About every five years I have to get serious about it and get some stuff put out. I hope to start in on it after duck season is over.
Slabseeker, by chance do you have a picture of the front of that boat? It look like my old one that I sold to a guy over on 240 in Plano.
There it is with the duck blind I built for it.
I've looked and don't have a good picture. It's a 1989 Panfish Pro with a Tracker/Johnson of the same year, 25 HP. My son bought for me from a guy who lived in Scottsville that fished the Cumberland river. At that time it had a tiller trolling motor on the front, and one Humminbird fish finder. I remember standing on the shore of Lake Erie as we looked out over the prestigious Cleveland Yatch Club, with all its boats, when I asked one of the members if any of those boats were for sale. He looked at me and said, every boat you se out there has a price. Fellas, my boat isn't for sale, the memories alone are priceless.

Slab, not my old boat then. I bought it from a guy in bowling green that used it at reelfoot. It served me well until I got mixed up in this duck hunting business. For a straight up fish catching boat the PF models are hard to beat. Mine had a mercury 25 on it. Once I had it choked and started once for the day I never had to leave that front seat, everything was within easy reach.
Then when I sold it, it went back to bowling green to the guy out on 240.

I've got it rigged with a V2, two fishfinders, I can longline, spider rig, vertical jig, and pull crank baits, talk about perfect. I'm now working on a contraption so when I whistle at my Jeep, it backs itself down the ramp, and into the water. Well that's on my bucket list anyway.
