Default Lake O the Pines Crappie day

Just heads up to anyone fishing LOP. Crappie are sitting in 20-25ft. I only had plastics so not sure how the bite is on minnows but putting 37 in the boat was good enough for us and 90% were good size. We used a variety of jigs and nearly all colors caught. Roughly 12 taken on the flats by the dam and the rest in big water along the channel about 1000yrds north of the dam. It was a good day!

Only 2 or 3. It surprised me that it was that few but one of them had pretty good thickness to it.

Beautiful fish! If that don't get you craving a thump! Thanks for the info.

Anytime buddy. Got word from a friend that they are catching on the stumps around Island View using minnows mostly. Im going to run out there this weekend and see if the temp drop affects the bite
