Default Been a challenging last couple days

Yesterday, sinkermaker and i made it out to wateree. Was breezy from the get go but managed to boat a striper, many nice catfish, and a crappie before winds picked up to 20 mph with gust at 30 or more. Today, my friend from columbia asked if i would take his friends fishing from pa who just wanted to catch fish. The bite was good across all species for a few hours and slowed from 1-3 pm. Managed caught many fish, brought 5 catfish, 8 crappie, and a striper home. They were happy with the few hours of constant bites. Lost to many crappie that hit the bate once and were gone by the time you could grab the rod. Didnt mark many fish below 30ft. Alot of school in the main river channel between colonel creek and june creek in 40 plus ft.

Great to see you were able to put them on some biting fish while here in SC.

I will say noelle, the female in the photo, knows more about fishing than her bf and intimidated me, she loves fishing, and was very happy with result and getting out while down here and catching some beautiful crappie.

i am really working my butt off when im out there. Given noelle had alot of experience fishing, i was at least able to explain to them how i rely on and fish my electronics, what im looking for, this is something they really struggled with. I am really hoping for some nice days in the 60's one of these weekends so i can really boat some fish.

Ray it was unbelievably windy on friday, had two anchors down and drift sock, wind was still pushing boat up to .8 mph. Became unfishable but stuck with it as long as we could.
