Whoa Daddy, those are some mules. Thanks for posting but you made me want to go more than ever. The only problem is rain for at least 3 days and the weatherman said maybe up to 5 or more inches.

Fished from 0730 to 1530 on Grand Bayou. Couldn't ask for a better day to be on the lake. At times it was like glass with no wind at all. Ended up keeping 17. Had 2 fish that went 1.91 and 1.90 lbs. both of those fish were right at 15". Had several 1.5 lbs fish. Not quantity today but quality it was. Fished 17 foe 15 feet deep. Bobby Garland Bone White and Chartreuse along with double minnow rig was the ticket. I didn't fish by the dam much as there were a load of boats there. I have no idea how they did maybe someone will chime in. The fish had some eggs but the eggs are not much bigger than a grain of salt. #teamoveralls

"G" Gone but not forgotten!!
That's why I made sure I went today PPG. Those 3 quart bags barely would hold 10 filets each.

My ziplok freezer bags have been leaking lately on each end of the zipper so I went to using big plastic cups with lids.....anyone else having this problem....

Yea Bruce I never trusted those zipper bags for holding water. I do like Maxwell 328 and use the double zipper bags.

Good job. Great catch. Who cares what the folks at the dam are catching when you can catch fish like that elsewhere. Congratulations!
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
Your right Pastor who cares what they are catching but it does make me wonder when I see all those boats down there. It was hard for me to go find out with what I was bringing in. Guess I'm just going to have to go fish it and if it's not producing the big boys move back up where I was.
