Pointers for a newbie????
I'm thinking about trying Jordan or maybe Harris for some Crappie or White Perch on Saturday. Can anyone give me any pointers on which might be better, what I should use for bait and a general area of where I should focus my efforts???? I've wanted to get into Crappie fishing for a while, just haven't been ale to find the time. I have a lot of jigs and crankbaits, would I be better off with minnows???? Thanks for any help!!!!

Try tight lining minnows or slip corks to get the depth correct on Jordan near the bridges and the mouths of creeks. Those are great beginner spots. Jigs work well also. More advanced techniques would be crankbaits but follow your comfort level the state does offer a map of the lake which does have fish attractors marked. ** Hint hint **
