    Default Lake Winona

My buddy and I finally got a day off tomorrow. Neither of us have ever fished this lake. Could you guys provide some guidance or suggestions for this lake.
    Thanks in advance
PS: I am not asking for your super secret fishing spots, just some help

I usually fish toward the dam side, I haven't ever fished it this time of the year. I do love that lake just hate the road to get there

Lake is really low. Be careful. Rocks to the left of ramp. Ridge to the left going out. Look for cover in 25 ft of water.

Ok, so water level was WAY down, it appreared to be a little over 10 foot low in fact. Not a great day catching but still a good day fishing. The lake does appear to have potential though, water level was just so low.
I do want to personally thank lawnmowerman43 and jtresn for taking a couple of minutes to respond to my post. You guys are good guys! If i can ever help y'all, just let me know!

We were in my buddy's boat so didn't get to mark everything but did take several pics with my phone for future reference. There are literally several hundred stumps inning the shores about 12 feet down from typical water level. Most of them are on northwest shore of offshoots. I honestly think it has potential for both bass and crappie when water is back to normal.
Lake is really pretty overall, road to it has plenty of......character. i think we will likely go back later in spring when water level come back

Just saw the post. Now you know about the road. BigFoot threw rocks at me one evening coming out of there.
