Jeff.... Do you know anything about the orange boat club on lake jessup in winter springs.... They have a ramp but I don't know if it's public or not.... They also have a face book page..... Is a Shame you don't have better access on that side of the lake.

No Mike, have seen a rowing team practicing before if that's who they are, they might launch from Winter Springs side just past H.S. there is a Dog park that property extends to lake, that's the nice paved railing area you see from the lake, went up close before to see if ramp is available, no go or ramp, yep I would do a lot more after work fishing if a public ramp was available on that side.

I think that is fair winds park? That's one of our accounts and I don't recall any access from there. Private ramps at some of the houses would be all I could think might be around there and that's a maybe. Might be worth a call to the City of Winter springs to see, you never know.

Biggest was a 13"er & a lot of healthy 12"ers in the mix. Saw 15 other boats on the water crazy busy for Jessup, although I was the only one not beating the banks w/minnows. Also a 1st w/longlining in 3 FOW, caught about 4 that way when the wind came up around 11-ish. All-in All a very pleasant morning, especially not getting called-out after my Black Hammock ramp donation ...Note if you launch there you pay through envelope, OK, but then park about a football field away, guess they want ya to be in shape if a gator chases you Also gave my fish up to a couple guys that waved as I went by earlier, in a small 10 ft Jon boat...they added to a cooler that already had a limit
Do you use floats when trolling that shallow?

Hey JJ, I only put out 7-9 ft of line at 3 ft, where as if fishing 8-10 ft might have 50-75 ft of line out...after 10 ft start using weights.
