Made it out 2:00-4:00 hit my usually deep dock, used my chartreuse/feather and caught 3. Fished about 20 mins , thought about making a run, then I changed to the olive/feather, and never left. Kept 18 all around 10" , have no idea how many 8-9" fish I caught, literally every cast. Then the current change, and I moved up to the dock to drop shot them . I caught around 10 shorts doing that, then noticed the current slacked up and moved back off. Back to every cast you would catch one or at least have a tap. Fun afternoon on the water.
Water temp was 49.3 , clear, lot of leaves and pine needles to fight, but well worth it. Merry Christmas to all. Happy holidays. Headed to guntersville in the morning to hook up with slabprowler , wish us luck.

Thanks for the mathematical formula in the title. In math the answer is right or wrong. You seem to have proven your formula correct. Congrats on the catch and having fun. Thanks for sharing. I haven't been since Thanksgiving and going through withdrawal. So I am going tomorrow.![]()

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
You guys enjoy it and Good luck. Send us back a report on the fishing and not the shenanigans!
Post a pic of those two jigs. Thanks!
There is a good pic of the chartreuse/feather jig on my post THER a couple of days ago. The other jig olive/feather I posted under TIED A FEW NEW ONES a couple of weeks ago. The second jig from the left, not a good pic, and having problems with the computer. Soon as I figure what's up, I'll post some real good pic.
Sounds like a great day of trying out the new stuff. Way to find them stacked up and get after them. What were you doing/how did you drop shot? Heard of doing that for bass w a worm but not crappie?
