Looking for the crappie went down to crowders we started out beside the humps went back about 300 yards into the creek.Intended on putting eight rods out couldnt get two in at the same time.Fishing in 30 feet of water 20 ft. deep .The perch were killing us.Didnt count them but we probably caught 75 easy.We coldnt get out of them.Seen some guys cat fishing give them two nets full an got out of there.They were fun to catch my son had a ball an would had stayed an caught them long as they would bite.Went across from crowders fishing river channel an here we go again.Couldnt get my rods in the water my son was laughing at me by then.Went up to catawba caught a few crappie.Water was 47 morning 50 when we left.two ramps open at B.B. fun day on the water an got to spend time with my youngest son,Hope u guys thin those perch out.Good Luck an God Bless
