Fished Green the past 2 mornings. Water temp 40-43'. Caught 22 keepers mostly jigging brush in 20-25 FOW. Yesterday's bite a little better than today. Breezy this morning but by 10:30 water went slick, no wind at all and bites were hard to get. Beautiful though! Anyway, is it better to fish early through the winter or a little later in the day, after the water warms a bit? This is only the second time I have fished in December. Merry Xmas everyone!

I find the bite gets a little better after the sun penetrates the water and even if water temp doesn't go up, the bite still will be a bit better!

We were there the 24th. Had 11 keepers some were real good ones. My uncle caught a black nose crappie that was real cool.
