    Plastic, because l'm cheap. I get em from Southern Pro curly tails and tubes by the hundreds. Some days single polling I may go through 30 or more so I need cheap.

    To go cheap buy 10 pack 1/8 oz. johnsons marabou jigs at Walmart or farm store for1.50 and coat chenille on jigs with a thin coat of hot glue or super glue .one jig will catch 200 or more crappie before falling apart.

    Me too. Nothing to be ashamed of. Lots of people do this around the world. Consequently, foreign poles use amazing technology.
