Any recommendations on a bait store that sells minnows between Columbia and Wateree state park? or should I pick up ahead of time?

    Thanks

State park is very good giving extras minnows but opens at 0900. The crappie store between lugoff and i77 along hwy 34 which wold be kind on the way has them also and a ton of crappie gear, probably the best cappie specific selection ive seen in sc. Or anywhere for that matter. They carry striper rods also.

Thanks , I guess I should call the state park store and see if they will be open on Christmas eve....I think the store at the cross roads is C&C or C&D tackle, was just there yesterday picking up a couple rods and such....I think they only have tuffies, Any time I am working in Ridgeway I take the time to stop in, always seem to find something I can't live with out....

Micorps are you talking about C&C or C&D? They have crappie stuff?

Midcarolina the store right by the Windmill resturant used to sale minnows. You might could call the Windmill and ask them or at least for the number. I thought Colonel Creek sold minnows? I also talked to a guy from work tonight and he said he was catching them off the bridge at Colonel Creek along with some stripers.

Just a suggestion, I use only red hooks with split shots and minnow fishing that kind of structure. Not so hard on the wallet if you lose a lot of hooks.
