    Default Wateree 12-20 & 21-16

    Tues

Cold & cloudy with the fish biting like crazy. We were using live shad on down rods in 25'. Did not see any fish schooling. Marked a lot of bait & fish. We ended up catching 22 stripers & 1 cat. Most were about 22" with 2 largest about 24". Missed a lot of fish. Fished out from the mouth of June creek.

    Wed

Should have stayed home. Very cold & foggy. Could not see more than 40' till 12:30 when the fog lifted. Fished the same location but could not mark any bait or fish. Ended up with 2 small stripers & 1 cat.

Looking forward to another trip next week!

That's why they call it fishing and not catching. Some days you get the bear and other days the bear gets you.
Still not bad 12 a day average is better than a sharp stick in the eye, way more than I caught at work
Thanks for the report look forward to the pictures. :-)

Nice ones Mr. Charles. That is a good area where you were at. Used to live in that small cove just as you come out of June Creek on the right. Have sat on the dock and put the whoopin on em a few years back.

Nice catch Charles. Thanks for sharing pictures and post. Thinking about going over there Friday but not sure. I would like to catch some crappie or cats. Anyone got any recommendations.
