Wow yall some lucky guys. Getting to put a whoppin on the fishes on a weekday. Us poor working people have to sit here and just look on at your posts and wish we's was retired. LoL
Congrats to yall on a couple nice catch days.
May be get to wet a hook that weekend and if the stars line up, catch a few or more!
Thank a Veteran every chance you get.

FF, work two years part time in a cotton mill when you are 16-18, do four years in the Navy, work 42 years at Westinghouse/Siemens, then you can be retired like old Thumper! The problem is this, when you get my age, it takes you three days to get the soreness out of your old body after an all day fishing trip, so you really only feel like fishing a day or two a week, so you ain't missing anything! The days of taking a week of vacation and fishing Wateree six days in a row like I used to do, are over for me. I just thank the Lord every night that me and Grady (we are both 67) are in good enough shape for Pete to drag us down to the lake and put us on some fish.

I hear ya Thumper. I would love to work at Siemens.
Been trying to get on there over 15 yrs.
I have a good friend there now.
I'm that far behind you and Grady in age... or at least the body ain't. And like you I think the Lord everyday for everything he has given me. And for the days I do get to go fishing too.
Glad you fellas get to go and can keep them fish in check
Thank a Veteran every chance you get.
