    Default Wateree today 12/14

Charles beat me to posting. He went North we went South.
Pete took Thumper and me out again to try to do better than last Monday. It started out slow very with few birds and they weren't feeding much.
It went from a sleepy day on the water to hectic frenzy fishing then to sleepy day on the water. Multiple time we hooked up 3-5 rods at the same time one time we had 7 out of 8 rods with fish on I got a double so it was 7 rods and 8 fish. We finished the day with 30 in the box. Thumper landed the biggest probably 7-8 lber, I got 2 doubles, I ket showing the guys how to get them but they wouldn't listen. :-)
Every thing was on plastics same as last week and about the same places. The afternoon was better than morning.
Saw NCcountryboy catching some too maybe he'll post how they did.
Another great day on the water with two fine partners, Thanks Pete and Thumper

Dawwg must have taught Grady how to catch them two at a time!! That is FOUR doubles in two trips. I have a lot more fun, because I catch mine one at a time!. We had another great day. The fish were a little slower than last week with a ton of short strikes. If we had caught the short strikes, we would have been home several hours earlier. We had 18 in the cooler and Pete said we are going to try this LAST spot for 20 minutes! We caught three there and Pete saw a school on the other side that was the best school of the day. We pulled through, and I think we had seven rods go down! Grady had to show off and catch two at a time, we put eight in the cooler and we caught one more for our limits. Great day with Pete and Grady!

P.S. After I cleaned fish until after dark, Mama cooked some fresh fish in the frying pan, made some tartar sauce and french fries and made me a fish sammich that would bring tears to your eyes! I'm going to bed!!!

You'll a bunch scoundrel, they're not going to be any left for Remus and me. You'll had a really good trip. I'm glad you got on them. I had my hands full with waiting on a man to cut some trees and scoop some wood chips up. Never got it done due to ground to wet for his equipment to travel over. Oh well! Remus and I are heading out to Wylie in the morning around 8 am. Hope we find a few crappies and some perch in the mud hole. Going to try Ebenezer ramp with my pontoon and hope it don't bog down on the sand. Thanks for sharing your stories and reports. Maybe Friday we can get down there and catch one or two!

Like Scooper said, the morning started out tough. The fish just were not feeding. 2 here, 1 there. I just had the feeling they would turn on in the afternoon. Usually what happens when the moon is bright the night before..... Sure enough, it happened. Left them biting. havent had the opportunity to fix my trolling battery onboard charger (connection issue from the beating my boat takes). So left them feeding for the other 10 high speed bass boats to run and gun them. Even with all the tangles, crossed lines and missed fish (mainly on scoopers side of the boat)!! ha

They sure are harder to get in the boat and your arms are sore after a dozen or so
