    I guess it's what you do when you tie jigs, always chasing something new.....







    And the magnum jig I'm working on. 3/8 head with 3/0 hook. Don't think I'll tie many of these. Not a cheap jig to tie.

    That's exactly why I'm making it. It's fairly common for bass chasers to catch big crappie in the spring on 1/2 ounce spinner bait so why not try a jig of comparable size.

    I'm gonna try to cross the eyes on some of those poverty point bigguns this spring with it....

    The heads come from zuma crappie jigs. Eyes came from ebay
