Default GARMIN 73SV SIDE VU MIRROR IMAGE

Im seeing the same things on both sides off the center line. Is my transducer mounted to high? Maybe hitting the motor?

they said on glass boat the ducer should be just a little below even with the bottom of boat and up to1/8 inch lower then the bottom of the boat and on aluminum 3/8 inches below for best results !!! I got the 93sv !!!

The left and right SI beams overlap at the bottom ... some targets (directly under the boat) can be detected in both beams at the same time ...

This scenario shows a mirror image of the same target on both sides of the centerline ...

This happened to me. Assuming the transducer is on the right side, the left beam is bouncing of the motor and showing data from right side of boat. I had to trim my motor up.

Rickie, if the left & right beams overlap why is there no interference? Gene & I were talking about this the other day.
