    Default Thought the day was gonna be a bust...


    but as it turned out, I ended up with some nice brownies....

    Then I thought it was gonna be a bust again, but as it turned out, we did catch one over ten inches! lol

    We actually had a good day. Lots of shorts, but we did catch a few in the 11-12 inch category. As a matter of fact, our 11th fish was 11 inches long and our 12th fish was 12 inches long. How nice is that. Too bad that trend did not continue, but the 13th and 14th fish were caught at same time, first double of the day.

    Shu sure messes around a lot with his gear rather than looking at his rods. But he still catches fish, so that, OK by me. Don't know how he does it, but he does. lol

    Looks like you guys had a good time and it looks like the color of that fish must have been fishing over your neck of the woods. Them brownies ummm sure look awesome.

    Not brownies--Lebkuchen jewels, some say honey cakes. Messing around??? my dad would say I piddle, sure do hate to look at a set of bouncing rods and not catching much. Thanks for the trip and did learn(yes it can be done) some about long lining.

    It's a pretty cool product from one of our sponsors, FLE FLY. And it's not expensive at all. Easily measure fish without even touching them. Although we released all the fish we caught, since we were catching nothing but shorts at first, I wanted to know how big this first larger fish was. It was our biggest fish to that point.
