I think I'm still half drunk from that "washing machine " effect. It was a humbling experience, first time running a tournament with some big time names and all the 300+hp glass boats , just lets you know where you are and what to shoot for.
get in, sit down, shut up and fish

What a difference a week makes. Went from trolling one week to plowing snow the next. Cover went on for good yesterday. Need to get the ice gear out too.
Two years without seeing the clam. I'm betting mouse holes.

now that you mention that i think i will take a peak in it , my clam is about 3 years old now i guess thats why they made duct tape. i sure didn't want to see this snow might make it alittle unsafe for a while.now that i got the bug time to check my line and reels out.....

Just got back from making a car run out to CO for the mother-in-law. All the lakes up in the passes were locked up and everybody was at their holes. Wish we would have had time to stop and check their buckets but we were outrunning a the storms up there in the mountains. They are a bit ahead of us on the ice.

Hey Jimmy, you remember the battery I bought on our winter outing at Cadillac? The one for my quad? I just had to replace it the other day. I can't remember how many years that was?

The home we moved to is about thirty yards from
Lime Lake and a brother has a home on Lake James. I will be fishing them and more I hope.

Haven't seen anyone on the ice yet. A guy drowned over by Lewiston the other day. Couple guys were out driving around looking at the ice. They seen a bucket on the ice with no one out there. Guy was fishing by himself a went in. Heck of a thing. Guys be careful and don't go alone till it's safe. Merry Christmas to everyone.
