Thread: Praying for another member

Just wanted to not leave everyone in the dark about this. About a month ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Over the last 30 days I have been through a biopsy to determine if it was actually cancer and also a cat scan and bone scan to determine if the cancer had spread. Yesterday afternoon I received good news that the cancer had not spread and appeared to be confined to the prostate, which is treatable with a good success rate. Thanks so much for all the prayers during the time of the unknown. I found that Gods help is very much needed to fight the demons that attack you mentally during this process. Unless God has already removed this cancer, I still have a ways to go, and I will be back at the doctor in early January to determine the next course of action. Please continue in your prayers that all will be well.

I am so glad to have met many of you through this site. Even though we all share a common interest, the bond often goes far beyond just a fish and becomes a great friendship. I see this not only in my situation but how you all respond to anyone in need. You are special people, and I pray Gods bountiful blessings on you all.

Thanks for the update. I will continue to pray for a positive outcome and for God to guide the Dr's through your treatment. I pray for you to keep a positive outlook on things and that the blessing you receive uplift you.
