couple questions I get asked a lot, no good answer, couple weeks ago they were 35 ft deep in 40 ft of water, few days ago they were 15 ft deep in 25 ft of water, and some in 10 ft of water just under the surface, so when I tell you they are biting in 30 ft of water and you go the next day and they are not there, what can I say they moved, Crappie do that, so if you go in cold weather be prepared, extra clothes, Ice melt for the ramp, something to start a fire, maybe a snack or two, first aid kit, just be ready, Now back to the fishing, buddy caught some fish in 50 ft of water just off the bottom, the first 3 were short and he had trouble getting them to go back down,,, so he left, went maybe two miles down river to a favorite dock and found fish in 15 ft of water just up off the bottom, first 8 were keepers and he went home. Be safe if you go in cold weather it can kill you and fast.
