Fished minners. Water temp started at 46 in the morning, got up to 48 by afternoon. Water still fairly stained. Overcast all day. Had to weed through several 5-7" fish. Got a good mess before heading to the ramp to go get warm.

It was real cold about 7 in the morning! You're right, the veteran move is to wait til about 10 and leave around 2 or 3- most comfortable air temps to fish in for sure.
