Does the local DNR folks have rules about putting out structure?
Looks great. Going to do some of the same on my waters. How long do you think they will last before they rot and can I use some that has already dried out .have some that I've had for couple months just hadn't poured the cement on them yet?
Looks really great! Hope they hold many fish for a long time.

Got some 3 inch bamboo stobs here at the house in the pond,,,,my attempt at bass stake beds,,,,a few floated up initially, hard clay bottom,,the rest been there 5 years,,the main trunk is pretty hardy,,,,a buddy told me one time a bass can hide his eye behind a stick,,,,he is hidden,,,
Mr lee is like to make some of those for a few spots an have a few questions. How much quickrete did you put in the buckets? Do you have to do anything to the piece of cane to keep it from pulling out of the concrete? Do you have to worry about them falling over due to wave action?

I am wondering where can I find bamboo near me. I know I have seen it in a guy's yard in Dothan, but he probably not take to kindly to me stopping by to harvest it....
Them should work fine. I will give everyone some ifo. Go to your land fill after new years they will have Christmas trees and blocks and all kinds of stuff you can get for free. A couple of years ago I got 3 truck loads of Christmas trees to put out.

I've done the Christmas tree and block thing several times before. Man they are kinda tough to deal with. I'd rather spend a couple dollars on some sacrete and have something a little easier to handle getting into my boat and set out into the water.
