Best time to catch 2 #ers has always been from October through December for 15yrs. I've been fishing it Harold....fish can be caught til' April, but the fall bite is very consistent.

Hats off to speck detector for putting on a great event at Harney again. You really made it all come together & cooked some of the best sloppie joe's I've ever had. We had a fun day & caught plenty of fish, it was great to get out & fish with everyone again. Hope to see ya soon !!

Its really just been one of those years, been crazy busy at work & home. My health is good so I can't complain there but had 2 family funerals since August, the hurricane set me back & then I missed the Monroe event cause my wife was in a car accident a few days before & was dealing with that, now just trying to get back on track.

Thanks for asking, I am ready to get back at it now

Glad to hear your back in the fold.
I attended my first "slab fest" after 5 yrs of promises at Monroe.
Really met some nice guys - Kenny & I had good time.
I have been messed up this whole year - had 3 major operations still going
through rehab, but i am back in the boat - love'in every minute of it on water

Glad to hear you are back at it Harold & felling better. I am glad you made it to a slabfest finally and meet some of the great people from c.c

Although most fishermen especially crappie fishermen are good people. There a lot of good people that fish the FCC & I hope to get back

to fishing more with them again.

Hopefully Crescent will be nice to you for the FCC Classic

I will second that on the sloppy joes. And i never cared for sloppy joes. But I would eat them again. Specially when I can chase em down with that cake Andy brought.

about Speck Detector. He even warmed up the sloppy joe after we got back from our rescue mission

about Andy's cake, awesome to say the least.
