Sorry I waited so long to report on crappie trip. Had to have daughter put pics on computer from iPhone. I'm tech challenged. didn't catch a lot of fish but those I caught were impressive. Caught less than 20 fish in 3 days at Millers Ferry but caught 3 around 15 " Roland Cooper was great and Lofkins Bait and Gas was very helpful spot.
Poverty Point was a wash for crappie. I had a hard time finding any water deeper than 6' but caught some nice cats.
Grenada and Enid were fun to try to learn. Finally found some fish on the Skuna River channel. And in some deep brush at Enid. Not a lot but some real slabs
Finished up at my Camper at Cedar Creek Lake. Caught Crappie in between hybrid stripers by the tonAll in all had a great 11 days. Cabins at Hugh White were very nice. All fellow fisherman I met were very helpful! If your at Grenada eat at HOTH Barbeque, it was incredible. Thanks to everyone who wished me luck and let me know if I can help anyone out with info on bait, campsites, ect.
Good for you. All deserve a vacation. Glad you had an enjoyable and fruitful time.

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
I'll take quality fish over numbers any day for the fun of catching. When it comes to eating I prefer to toss back the slabs and keep the 10" fish.
