    Default Miller's ferry crappie report

Special thanks to try n hard!! We stayed at Rolland Cooper state park. Great little cabin on the water. Caught 30 in two days fishing minnows in the river. Had 10 over 12". Caught a big catfish also 12 lbs. Ate at the old plantation home. Beat steak I've had in a long time. Thanks again try n hard for the info.

Sounds like a great trip. IMO, Alabama does a great job with State Parks. If you ever get a chance, I recommend Wheeler, Desoto, and Guntersville. Desoto is not far from Weiss Lake. I might have to take an adventure to Millers Ferry some time. Congrats on the catch. I bet the catfish was a big surprise.

Yes I recommend the park. The only complaint was I like a king size bed. The room was very clean and a good TV package for my boy. Cabin was on the water with a dock so that was a bonus for sure. We had fun and got a great meal to boot
