    Default Lake Harney Slabfest


    What a great day meeting new friends and finding out who can tell the best stories.

    This was the first event my wife and I have been able to attend. I always read about your tourneys and imagine the fun trying to out-do friends with common interest.

    This morning was no expection. Started the day running across the lake on the south-east to start trolling. Being new to this lake I just used the same techniques that have brought success at lake Monroe.

    The color of the day was a black beetle spin and black/pink roadrunners trolling about 1 knot. Fish were relatively steady and ended up with a mix of pick twister-tails and the beetle spin.

    All in all ended up with a 5 fish weigh-in of just over 6 lbs...close to the third place team of 6.3 and about 20 specs in all.
