    Colors should work, but not sure how well it will hold together? Let us know after you use them. Looks like a fish catching jig though!

    Brett if you tie in a piece of copper wire before the feather is tied in and left hanging off the back, then after you tie in the feather you can wrap the wire forward to the head and tie off. You do need to work the wire into the feather so you don't just clamp down on the good part, it will hold the stem to the hook shank pretty well. Just an FYI for you in case.

    Actually can get the wire in a lot of colors.
