    They are fine, I back in further when launching by myself to let the boat float on the trailer with no issues.

    Tim, you may want to get a drift sock or 2 to slow you down.

    Yes I need a couple, will have to wait till next month. I think they are like $75 a piece.

    Tim, Check around I got one at Cabbleas a 78" it was marked $04.99 got it for about $75 you shouldn't need anything near that big

    There is the 50 some inch that is on cabelas i have yet to see go on sale for $75

    Tim if you can get some heavy log chain you can also drag that behind the boat works just like a drift sock. You will need about 10 feet and rope.

    I was going to suggest that Thumper but was not sure on how much he would need. A huge rock is better than an anchor to lose.
