Have you tried Keller's on 431. There is also another gas station between Keller's and Honeycomb that used to keep minnow's. Hope this helps.

The usual place I get them near Guntersville is closed due to owner being in hospital(dont know if they will reopen or not)
Anyways I got a tank and buy them by the pound. Where can I find them in Alabama?
Preferably within next couple of days as I want to go fishing Thursday

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
Im not sure where to buy minnows in bulk. But like spaceman said.. Kellers on hwy 431 near Guntersville Dam Road is one place and the other I believe he is talking about is a BP station that is maybe 1-2 miles from honeycomb.
There is also a gas station on Hobbs Island road across the street from a Madison County operated "marina" called Whitesburg Yacht Club.
GBYRD thanked you for this post
Only place I have tried was GTO and they will sell them by the pound but when I got them the tuffies were much bigger than I liked. I do best with them little inch and half tuffies.
Pawpaw always said to catch a big crappie you gotta have a little minner ha
If you're coming through Huntsville, you might try Buster's Bait and Tackle on Governors Drive. Old time bait and tackle store, amid all the yuppie crap - but they seem to have plenty of minnows and bait.
Last time I was at Busters they only had minnows by the dozen and they was kinda pricey
Decatur bait & tackle has by the pound and oxygen in a air bag.
Pettit catfish farm in blountsville I got tuffies the other day 10 a pound located on highway 79 very nice older gentleman. 429-3415 call first between 8-5.
Petits is where I normally get them but they told me no more til after holidays. I needed them for Thursday morning. Oh well jigs are getting broke out haha
