Thank you gentlemen, very much appreciated. Very long day yesterday getting home about 8:30 last night. The doctors did a fantastic job of controlling my temperature coming out of surgery, and the recovery. It was concerning me some since the last surgery.
They loaded me up on pain meds starting with before surgery and in recovery. I was feeling pretty good yesterday late afternoon. Now, I didn't sleep well and got up at my normal time. Pains are just beginning to crank up, so we will see how things are later today.
Doc said that everything went just as planned, it took him a little longer since he is right handed and it was my left side. Balance is off which was expected. It feels weird not having any hearing aids in at all.

Now, the only thing I remember in recovery is littlemama getting me ready to go home. So, Dean had called last night while we were driving home. And littlemama tells this story that while in recovery I was talking about heading to Lake Washington next week to fish. Then, all of sudden I leaned up in the bed and reached out to set the hook on a rod! She said she and the nurses were rolling! And I think Dean was too when he heard it. Gotta have your priorities in order.......

I know what will cure this pain in my head right now........
Didn't sleep well Thursday, Friday or Saturday night, but did get some sound sleep last night. Probably cause I finally ran out of steam. The appetite hasn't been affected too badly this time around. Just like any injury or surgery, you have moments of harsh discomfort and bliss. I am very much still swollen internally, and can not hear anything on my left side. The twitches started up saturday, and the steady throbs began last night. First surgery it took 8 days before it popped.
I praise the man upstairs for my wife, with the patience of a 1,000 saints, who takes excellent care of this ole grumpy patient. I couldn't do it without her!

Overall, I'm gonna make it. As long as the left side turns out like the right, this will have been a huge success, a 2nd chance and a blessing all wrapped up together. Don't catch all the feeshes, save a few for seed. I will be back at it before too long. The feeshes think I am off the water for duck season, they have another thing coming before too long.

    Rip some lips,
    Brian
