Default Back in the saddle on Russell

Been to long off the water so it was great getting on the lake. Wanted to go to all the lakes I fish but decided to spend a few hours on Russell to get back use to the saddle

The lake didn't disappoint just the wrong spices. The bass was on fire and no matter where I fished the bass was there waiting. I do enjoy catching them too as they are a lot of fun and not bad eating neither.
Didn't keep any of them but ended the day after 2- 1/2 hours of fishing catching 17 bass and one crappie. Nothing real big with most running 12 to 14'' and a couple longer.

Great to be able to get out again! Enjoy every trip like it is your last because we never know when it may be.

Few pics and a short video,

Stump glad you are back in the saddle again. That first trip really gets the juices going don't it. I remember the first trip after battling cancer it don't get no better. Glad you felt the tug and caught some fish. Straighten your pictures out. Thanks for sharing

nice video, Stump! Glad that you got to get out and put some slime on your jigs! I've learned to be thankful for each trip and not take it for granted...you don't know from one day to the next when it might be our last trip.
