What's funny is that Humminbird is all about the Chirp now, just this past spring the Humminbird reps doing the seminars at Grizzly were saying that Chirp really was not a big deal but yet here it is. Think Garmin had proved that wrong, just wasn't a big deal in the Humminbird line.
Wonder if it will help enhance 360 images as well?

There is no info (as of yet) to indicate 360 will have CHIRP capability ...
All info released so far CHIRP imaging requires a completely new style xducer ...
(360 is basically SI imaging = with rotating SI piezoes) ...
We are posting pertinent info as soon as it's released and verified ...

I am curious how much of the enhanced sharpness and clarity is from the chirped imaging and how much is from the increased frequency. Looks pretty awesome either way.

Some of the images I saw were at a fixed 1200 Khz and looked very good ..... It may be a little of both, but I think it is mostly the higher (mega) frequency ......The chirping may also help increase the range.
