Who makes it etc? Few variables involved. You got to mix it cold, and a few drops likely wont see anything noticeable. to swing soft to medium in our formula, Its more like a teaspoon to 4 ounces.

I know there is a lot of personal preference to this question. Is there a basic starting .point to how much hardner you use. I've used a few drops and even went to the other extreme and it doesn't appear to make much difference. Just seems baits are pretty soft either way. I'm mainly trting to make the body tougher. Thanks...

Ok...im using plastisol right now..thanks I'm taking it you can't add after it's been cooked then?
No you can't add raw concentrated resin (hardener) to cooked plastisol, you need to add it cold and mix the crap out of it. But again we need to know what company makes the plastisol and hardener to give you a better answer.
It is far easier to get the plastic in the hardest compound you will need and soften it.

I would also add salt to your baits if you're looking for tuff baits

The LC500 is just a hard plastic, there is no special additive in to make it tougher for tubes. Harder plastics scorch and yellow easier so most have added stabilizer in them from the factory. I see on another forum you were recommended to use Med plastic, I believe you will find that VERY soft for tubes.
Following your suggestion I ordered a couple of gls. hard from *********.
Any thought on adding soft?
