    Default Fishin Monday

Well, Got on lake by daybreak, stayed till 11am .....
Only managed six fish, only one of them was sizable (13")...
Was a bit overcast but pleasant, slight breeze = pleasant ....

George (baitshop guy) said we might not do well cause of the Super Moon ...
    He might've been right ......
But was good being out on the lake ....

Checked the fuel/water separator when I got home = not a drop of water ......
So, Speck Detector, will be returning it (portable tank) to you next time I catch up
with you at the lake/lakes ..........Tx's so much .......

AND, am using same gas that was in my tank = no water in gas ............

Nice fish Danny, now on to better things than fooling with the fuel cell.

    Well now ....Hold on ...........................
Still got to re-hook up my boat gas tank, fill it, and then run it and see if the water problem is indeed solved ......
I've only proven that there is no problem with the motor introducing water into the fuel line (can't see how that
would be possible) but had to go through the process of elimination etc, etc, etc ......

Was talking to neighbor as to the possibility that there might be a small hole in the fuel line running from the
tank down through the bilge to the back of the boat and to engine etc .....
I took that hose out and inspected it and it looked in great shape, so, believe it is OK ....
However, still got to fill tank and run the boat and see what happens etc, etc, etc .......

I guess the possibility could exist that if there were a small hole in that line, it could suck water in and be the
problem, remember, after a whole day trip there is only about four or five tablespoons of water in that separator .....

Can't you put one of your condoms on one end of the hose, put some air pressure in the line, block end off and see if the condom deflates over time????

Could just been that deluge of driving rain during Mathew and pressure dropping the bleed vents at fuel cap could have sucked water in. But at least your eliminating possibilities one at a time.
