Well, today was the day to hit the Big O. We stated out slow in the morning . Beautiful day slight breeze. Had 17 in the box by 10:30. Then it slowed down. So we decided to get some lunch and kill some time. Glad we did. Got back on the lake at 2:45 and run about 20 minutes to our spot and first line in was a keeper. They kept coming . We stopped fishing at 5:30 and ha 2 limits in the box. These fish are the first wave in and most were all males. So water temp was still up in the lower 70 's . It should not be long until big females start smacked the jigs.

Water Quality was fine . Most fish came from " Pencil Reeds" .

Im hearing the Lake is on fire right now! Ive got some buddies that have been wearing them out both day and night. They fished Saturday and limited out by noon then went Sunday and limited out by 11. My deer season is coming to an end and my batteries are hot so it looks like its time to get in on the action.
