While i sit here waiting for a few videos to convert to make a video from this weekend be ause the software crashed and lost my work, i told the wife i think today is a good day to smoke the pork bellies that have cured for 8 days in the fridge. I have four slabs total. The cure is sugar, tennessee honey jack daniels, salt, and spice heavy.

Nothing better than that making bacon the real kind. Do you want the units to talk to each other. Mid Carolina on Sunset Blvd is supposed to be good.

Nice never tried curing my own bacon, but you may have given me something else to study up on. anything homemade got to be better than store bought.

It definitely is better, where you at in sc, i will let you try it. Sinkerman has tried it. I think this batch will be even better. Just a pain slicing it if you dont have a meat slicer. I waited for one to go onsale at cabelas.

I'm south of Columbia @ North, I was on Wateree Friday up lake. I believe home done is way better than store bought. We started 7 years ago Canning, now we almost never buy anything with tomatoes or green beans, we even make our own spaghetti sauce, Salsa, anything that can be canned we do it. Little more work but I think better for you even when you grow the stuff yourself.

Excellent on the pork bellies!!! Hat's off to you for sure. I process everything myself, including all sausage and hamburger meat. That is fine for sure, thanks for posting.
