Default Lake Wylie Crappie day. 11/8/2016

I am 8 miles from Buster Boy bridge and it took 70 minutes to get there. A virtual parking lot on 49. Sometimes did not move for 10 minutes. Finally got to ramp and they have one ramp open. No problem launching. Went to my honey hole and game on. Caught 13 fish in one hour. Went to 8 other brush and only caught one more. Tough day but thankful for that one hour. 14 in the boat. Mostly 9 inchers, Black and Chartreuse was my go to color when low light or cloudy.

It was funny during that first hour. Every time I caught a crappie I would text Brettw oops caught another. He text back you are starting to loose a friendship.

Got home put boat away. Then I went to vote come back home clean fish and had yum yums for dinner.
Footnote: while moving around the lake saw a lot of bait and fish near bottom in mail lake and mouths of coves. If I had minnows might have done some tight line near the bottom in 20 to 35 feet.

You might ought to text him some more. Starting to sound like a celebrity. Glad you were able to catch a mess and thanks for sharing.

CK, glad you got on them. Hate everyone wanted to go fishing when wanted too! The day time guys I know said if you find them you can catch some. Hate I missed dinner but there will be another time I'm sure.

At times an hour of fishing time makes a big difference in catching or not. That traffic may have cost you some fish but nothing can be done to change that. Congrats on your catch and enjoyed your report.
