At least they waited. They started earlier this fall on Juliette and then it stopped raining.

It was down a just under 1-1/2 feet yesterday. They seem to dropping it at a rate of just under .5 ft.a day according to lake levels online. The lake was clean with little to no trash.

Thanks for the info. When are they raising it back up? I guess the 1st ramp at Veterans won't be usable before long.

May give it a try later this week. Heard they were taking down real slow because of low water in river.....cooler nights have got to help.

i went Sunday morning and the fish were stacked up in the river channel but would not bite we caught 1 good keeper and 3 small ones and a bass from around 8:30 till 12 :00 noon. saw one boat right after we got there two men and they had 3 fish . my wife caught the big one .at least she was happy .
we were dropping minnows from 12 Ft to the bottom tried shooting a jig up against the RR cement pilings . to Wendy for me to control the boat so stayed on the south side ,the draw down should be completed by the 11 Th
retired and now i will always fish

I wish they would draw Talquin. Mack always said the fishing comes back after each drawdown.
