Anything I can bring as far as food or drinks?
Hey goobers....looks like the wind forecast is getting better and better. Several people have asked if they could bring anything....we got the hot dog lunch pretty much covered.... so if you want to bring a side dish that goes with hot dogs and chips or a dessert or cookies etc that's fine but we don't really need anything. Speck Detector hosted one of these last year on Harney and did a great job. We learned from him....... It's great seeing new names coming....They're a few of us fishing tomorrow so we will have a good scouting report. Probably won't post that info...to many lurkers...but send a request by PM and you'll surely get a response. If someone tells you a good area....IT'S GOOD! We only lie about how big the ones we lose are...
For the new members...we use to have a Monroe vs Talquin Throwdown, but like all good things people lost interest after awhile.....but this year we'll be weighing the Monroe five biggest fish and The Talquinettes/Talquinweenies will be doing the same...braggin rights at stake here!!

I think my wife and I will fish...ready for fattys...
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
Looks like 40 bassers launching with us....I only count maybe 40 spaces.... So get there early.....get launched and parked.. Some may even want to launch on the Seminole side and come to lunch by boat..... Sometimes people park down by the campground area..... Hopefully all the bassers won't show
Good catch today!

I will be launching on the Seminole side. Launched there today just to check it out
Room for 4 boats to launch, but, only 3 are usable, unless you have your truck jacked up. Had to back up until all 4 wheels of the tow vehicle were in the water 3-4 inches.
Caught 8, with a nice 13 fatty, a 4-5 lb cat and a Croaker (?).
Saw several boats crappie fishing, and catching more than we were. Looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow, and learning from you.
Maņana!
