Don't see an "I'm Coming " from speck detector, crappie day, specktacklure, but I'm counting you in anyway....Anybody else coming post up so we can have a head count. So far looks like twentyish....of course we'll plan for some extra. Bring your own beverage and we'll be serving hotdogs and chips.....if anyone wants to bring a dessert etc. I'm sure it will be appreciated.
We plan to be in and eat around 1PM. We maybe running earlier than that if the wind runs us off the Lake...Might be good if someone in the group has your cell phone number too....so if we come in earlier we can get in touch with everybody.
We need somebody to run the fruit jar...any volunteers? Maybe we could keep it around $5 per person.... payout 1st, 2nd, 3rd and $5 for big fish winner take all.....but if someone volunteers we'll go by your rules.
Weather for Saturday (subject to change daily) looks like low 54* high 77*.....winds NNW 7mph increasing as the day goes on.
Should be some big weights......The big fish are biting and they're plenty of them...I wouldn't kid you about that.

I'm with Andy on this one. Will depend on anticipated wind conditions. My ole Tracker can't take too much out on Monroe.
Will be keeping a very close eye on the anticipated wind conditions. And fingers crossed!
At this point = Pretty windy ....
Temps = Red (great) .....
Surface winds = Purple
Gusts = Blue
"Teach a man to fish = he can feed himself "
"Teach the world to fish = you won't have any fish left to eat "
I'm coming no matter what the weatherman says or guesses the outcome will be.
I will have family if it looks ok or I may have coffeecup if it looks too windy. I would help with the fruitjar but
am not sure what time I will get there & the fruitjar guy needs to be there first. Don't matter to me either way, I say
we just go beat Russ & the Talqueenies !!![]()
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"Speckanator LIKED above post
Count me in! It has been calm early, the last few days. When it starts to blow, I have a drift-sock that hasn't seen the light of day in four years. Hope it is still in one piece.😂
How about if I bring some cole slaw to go with the dogs?

I have been more of a lurker than a poster on this site, I think it's time to meet a few of you fellas and check out your set ups. I am a lifelong minnow dragger but very interested in these new fangled spider rigs. lol

PS. Haven't fished Monroe in 10 years, where is the closest bait store to the park?
