    Cool Jordan Lake 10/28/16

Awesome day on Jordan Lake! Two of my buddies called and wanted to go to Jordan today. We got a late start and got started fishing about 11:30am and it was on. We caught our limit and very good quality fish. The biggest was 2.20 pounds and several more over 1.5 pounds. This was one of the best day's I've had in a long time. It's hard to beat Jordan Lake for Quality + Quantity!

Good catch. Sounds like your 7 best would be around 11.5 pounds. That probably get you a check on Nov 5th CCA tournament at Farrington.

I might be able to fish Nov.5. Can I enter the tournament that morning or do you have to pre-register?

    Hello all,

I'm new to crappie fishing, but I have a kayak I've used for bass, and I live near Jordan and have been there frequently. How would yall suggest I go about just trying to get some keepers in the boat? I don't have a fish finder, and only have two rod holders built into my kayak, so I don't know if trolling would work. Just looking for some general advice for Jordan near the Farrington Ramp. Thanks.
