That's Great! Will be waiting on some photo's, never fished for redfish before. Are they good eating?

Had an unexpected trip to Ohio and just got back around town. Working on wiring and shocks for the "new to me" truck. The ole Slowride has been in the garage for so long I just hope I know how to act once I finally hit the water.

The homemade trailer wiring on the truck threw me for a loop, but in the process today of getting that all sorted out and corrected this morning.

The most disappointing thing has been the hunt for replacement shocks. 6 different parts stores and bad guesses and mostly clueless help has been a point of aggravation, so hitting the Nissan dealer this afternoon and keeping fingers crossed. Still aiming for our slabfest as a goal well deserved. Until than you guys save me a few and be safe out there. 😎

Hey Stu, might be a tad late to help but that 4 Wheel Parts on 50 is pretty good at correctly finding the correct suspension parts for older trucks. Hope ya get it sorted out.

    👍 Thanks guys.

Truck wired and looking good, truck and trailer lighting up and functioning. Thank you Uhaul.

Found the exact required shocks at the Nissan dealer, they were great and cost me less than the other parts stores. 😊

I think she is set to roll, and I'm planning on hitting the local chain in the morning for the first launch in a lot longer time than I would have liked to admit.

The Frontier XEV6 looks good to go and the boat runs very well down the road behind her.

Changing out the shocks and running here and there today plum kind of wore me out but I'm shooting for a refreshing shower than into the man cave (garage) to get to work on setting up the poles.

On top of everything else with these new Spyderloks I'm looking to change my long lining set up by running out the sides versus the back by simple reason of less running to the back since I usually sit up front facing backward anyway.

I do believe I'm excited. Work out the bugs tomorrow locally, than maybe a chance to hit up Monroe Saturday/ Sunday for a quick pre fish if I can muster up the effort to drive across town.

Either / or I'm golden for November 5th, minus finding some fish 😳

Yup...... things are looking up 👍

Pulling off front just takes wider turns to keep line from bunching up on transom or motor. But works great. Thats all I did till this boat.
