I did go out today to catch a white if I could find one, so I took his pic and then went hunting for crappie and saw Hippy Dave and his new friend scouting around
We both went over to a community hole in the area
I marked it and caught one nice crappie
They left for home
Then I got over near a marker we like to fish and it was 1 after another with c on a c PAs
Caught 6 NICE keepers and had 4 TBs...Then hauled out after 11:00

BTW, If you are single pole tight lining or whatever and after days of success by dropping the jig you have no luck, then hit the bottom and drag slowly giving your bait going horizontal action.
That was what happened. We get in a comfort zone sometimes and forget we have to experiment and change things up instead of being hard-headed

Quit trolling on the 30th of September and started tight lining on the 1st of Oct Things have been picking up pretty good as the water cools, this morning surface temp was 73 and when I quit it was 74. Wife and I caught 20 Monday and 27 today, some were 14 inches long, true slauber knockers. Finally got to try out my new Xpress X19, this is the 3rd one I have owned, and I have loved them all but guess what, it almost sunk, bad leak. Took it back to Boat Locker last Thursday in Nashville, 220 miles one way, and I would have to say they were really nice and done everything they could to fix my problem. They found one loose connection and were hopping that would fix my problem, but when I took it out Monday I had to pump 4 to 6 gallons of water every hour. Called back and they are going to get hold of the manufactory and call me back. I would like to say again Boat Locker has been working with me and has been really nice about it. But I will keep you all informed of this situation and how Xpress deals with it. Back to fishing first pic in the sink is Monday and the ones spread out is today.
