I know that people want to get on Jordan to check out the crappie but we just need to let them fatten up for a couple more weeks. Jordan is holding water to protect those of us downstream. I-95 was closed because they didn't know if the bridges would stand all the water and trees coming down the Cape Fear River. The water is going down but the state needs to check these bridges and roads for hidden dangers. Living in the Fayetteville area, I am glad Jordan is there and doing its job. I'm sure they will start releasing water in the next few days.
