Always been a big fan of the black & chart but very little experience with the bright orange. They all look good. But come to think of it, I don't remember anything you tied
    that I didn't like.

Thank you RR! Man RR let me tell you this about the Hot Orange tail. Usually I use it on a Roadrunner type bait so a marabou feather also. However I first discovered how well it worked one spring when I was just slow moving down the bank. I had learned that if I wanted to just leave maybe 15 feet of line out and whip my line from one side to the other using a 10' pole I could cover a lot of water on both side of my boat and at the same time cover the very shallow weed line along the bank. Well I ran into a nesting area in water that was 1' to 3' deep and after I found it I just backed off a little and started casting in there and I would pull it out just fast enough that I could still see the bait and also see them come up and take it. That made me think okay when they are on the bank the crawfish color is great I guess because they think they are protecting their eggs?? Then later I also learned this color in stained water, more stained than normal when I use my Chart and Blue. It's works so good in really stained water that this is my go to colors in that kind of water. The first color I will try in conditions like that. So I would say keep a few handy and one day when you go to the lake and it's all stirred up tie one one of this color and see what happens.

Skip, check your PM's. I like the idea of the long pole and slinging it back and forth across the boat. Should work great with my kayak too.
