Ripped a few lips this morning on Crooked Creek, spider rigging minnows in 8-10 ft of water. Beautiful morning . Lost several at the boat. Hard to handle the net and get the fish in with those long 14 ft poles by yourself. Managed to see a bald eagle flying over, but not quick enough to get a picture.

Nice catch and pictures! I don't even try using a net with those long poles. Usually just try to grab the line up by the first eye at just the right moment to lift fish into boat.

Nice catch, and the water is purdy for sure.

5 poles when I am alone. that's enough to handle for me. If it's a real nice big fish, I am hesitant to try to just flip them into the boat. I guess I'll have to try it and see how it goes. I'm afraid if they are hooked in the tender lips, they will tear off when I lift them.
