That's why they make vicious and braided line....pulled up many a trot line,tree,etc and the hooks 'll straighten too.....my baits look awful....some that got only one treble hook left....couple with a straight hook here and there....if I lose a bait, it's because it was meant to be lost...a lot of em will float up later if watch out for em too.....
