Against my better judgement, I went out there today for a little while. My wife wanted to go, which means we weren't going early. Lol. It isn't so much the wind rolling down the lake, it's the gusts. I felt like I was flying a taildragger again. Feet never stop moving to keep it under control. Tangled a couple lines a few times, but they had fish on them so it was worth it. I figured at 10:30am, we were just going to be catching dinks at a slow pace. We caught a few good ones and lost one trying to pick it up into the boat. Threw back a bunch of dinks. Left there around 1:30. Yesterday wore me out and today really gave me a good jab to remind me. Still better than working!
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.
