Default Cotaco Creek, 8 Oct 16

Son and I went before sunrise again this morning. Caught 11 crappie. One carp. Three bass. Crappie were much tighter today in groups...less scattered. Size was a bit larger than Wednesday. Average Crappie was 11 inches. Large fish was 13 inches and weighed 1lb, 3oz. Bait was BG monkey milk, crystal, and white marabou. Water temp was 76 degrees. All catch and release again today.

That creek is one of my favorite areas during the winter draw down. I make several trips, driving to Sharps Ford to put in. Thanks for sharing!!

I primarily fish single pole on lay downs and underwater structure. All artifical baits.
